Get More Hits

1. If someone signs your guestbook make sure you add them to your friends list and leave a nice comment on their site.



2. visit lots of sites on other peoples friends lists and leave a nice comment as well as your site. Dont just leave your site and say nothing, that is really rude and i doubt anyone will visit if you do that.



3. have a visitor section because that is why people will come back to your site, for help and graphics for their site. if you cant make your own graphics collect some icons, html codes blends but make sure you credit if you take any that other people made. no one likes a stealer.



4. like number 3, never steal. it is not worth it and usually the site ends up with nasty comments and has to close because obviously it is wrong to steal. (always credit!)



5. if you have the right program, try making your own layuts and blends even if they are not that good. people will appriciate that you made the effort and eventually your blending/layout making skills will become better and better! :)



6. try getting your own button with your site name on (if you can make it or use some that various sites offer) and plug it into plug boards that lots of sites have. people will click your button to visit your site and its a great way to get hits!



7. update your site quite regularly. people are more likely to come back if they know you update regularly and they'll want to know what you've added or whether you've changed the layout :)



8. be original and dont copy what other people have done. if your site looks exactly the same as a famous site that everyone likes i dont think you'll be too popular.
